Summer Reading Program The Summer Reading Program is for 6 to 12 years olds and runs from July 8 through August 28th. This year's grand prize is a bike! Other prizes available to be won include iPods, gift certificates, books and more! Parents set a reading goal each week with their child. This can be 10 minutes, an hour or whatever time parents honestly feel reflects their child's reading capability and lifestyle. When the child reaches their goal, they get an entry into the draw for one of our great prizes! A maximum of 8 entries are available per child, and children can "catch up" if they've missed any weeks. However, they cannot "bank" time and jump ahead of the current week. It's as easy as that, and best of all, the program is completely FREE! The prize draws, including the grand prize draw for a new bike, will be made Saturday, August 30th at 3:00 p.m., so come into the library to get your log book now! We will also be offering a storytime for ages 3 - 5 on Thursday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.. Computer/Internet Training Sessions Computer/Internet training sessions for individuals are available on an as needed basis. Please call the library for more information.
