The Caroline Municipal Library is pleased to host seven Internet computers for public use. However, users are required to comply with Internet policies. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN THE LOSS OF COMPUTER PRIVILIGES.
ALL USERS OF THE INTERNET WILL BE EXPECTED TO USE THESE RESOURCES IN A RESPONSIBLE MANNER CONSISTENT WITH THE EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES FOR WHICH THEY ARE PROVIDED.
RESPONSIBLE USE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: USING RESOURCES FOR EDUCATIONAL,INFORMATIONAL, AND RECREATIONAL ONLY; NOT FOR UNAUTHORIZED, ILLEGAL OR UNETHICAL PURPOSES.
Internet use is limited to one hour per person per day. Children on breaks from school will be allowed 2 time slots per week. All children under 18 must have a signed consent form on file before being allowed access to the Internet. Children under 13 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent while on the Internet. Only two persons allowed at a terminal at one time. Use of chat rooms is not allowed.
ANY PERSON REGARDLESS OF AGE FOUND ABUSING THESE RULES WILL NO LONGER HAVE USE OF THIS FACILITY.
